Small Events at Wildflower Estate

Not every celebration needs a ballroom.

Celebrate Together is our collection for showers, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, and the gatherings in between. Wildflower Estate is a private 18-acre estate in Gibsonburg, ten minutes from Bowling Green, and the Event Room holds up to 80 guests, with a fireplace, big windows, and the kind of quiet that comes from being the only people on the property.

Five hours, one flat rate, and our team handles the setup and the teardown. You bring the people.

  • Showers

    Bridal showers, baby showers, and the gatherings that come before the big day. Room to spread out, natural light, and space for a grazing table that people actually gather around.

  • Holiday Parties

    Company holiday parties, team dinners, and family gatherings. A private estate in December feels like something. December weekends book first.

  • Rehearsal Dinners

    Whether or not the wedding is with us. A private estate the night before is a very different feeling from a back room at a restaurant.

  • Birthdays and Milestones

    Milestone birthdays, retirements, and anniversaries. The guest of honor should not be the one setting up the room or hauling trash at the end of the night. Here, they are not.

  • Corporate and Community

    Board meetings, business lunches, awards presentations, team retreats, and reunions. Wifi, power, a projector and sound system available, and catering handled in house. Forty minutes from Toledo and ten from Bowling Green, with parking for around 70 vehicles and no one else on the property.

  • Celebrations of Life

    A celebration of life should not fall on the family to organize. Luncheons, reunions, meetings, and the quieter gatherings that deserve a calm space and no rush.

What Celebrate Together Includes

$600 for five hours

  • Private use of the Event Room for your five-hour event, including your setup and teardown time

  • Tables, chiavari chairs, and linens

  • Setup and teardown handled by our staff, not by you and your family

  • A venue manager on site for the whole event

  • Parking for around 70 vehicles

Need more time? Additional hours are $75 each.

A $300 retainer reserves your date, and the balance is due 21 days before your event.

Food and Beverage

Three ways to handle food. All of them work here.

Let us cook. Holland Gardens is our sister company and our own kitchen, so you can add catering without bringing in an outside vendor. Grazing tables, brunch, heavy appetizers, taco and pasta bars, soups and salads and sandwiches, and more.

Bring your own. Making the food yourself is completely fine. Plenty of showers and birthdays here run on family recipes and a few trays from home.

Hire a caterer you love. Outside caterers are welcome. We only ask that they are licensed and insured, and that they handle their own setup and cleanup.

You are also welcome to bring your own alcohol. If you want a full bar, our licensed bartenders handle the service for $100.

Add-Ons

Set at your tables before you arrive, cleared and washed after you leave. Renting these anywhere else means a pickup, a return, and a sink full of dishes.

Full place setting is the one most groups add. It includes silverware, dinner plate, salad plate, cloth napkin, and water goblet, set at every seat before you arrive. We set six or eight per table depending on your layout. The napkin is already included, so there is no need to add one separately.

Champagne wall holds 48 flutes. Bring your champagne and we pour it, set up as a welcome drink so guests have something in hand the moment they walk in.

Sound and projector for presentations, slideshows, speeches, and toasts. Wi-fi and power for a laptop are already in the room.

Dates

Weekdays and off-season weekends are generally open. Peak season weekend dates are held for weddings and open up as they get closer, so it is always worth asking.
