  • Wildflower Estate is a private wedding estate in Gibsonburg, Ohio, designed for couples who want more than just a venue. With beautiful outdoor ceremony locations, indoor event space, overnight accommodations, and exclusive access to the property, Wildflower Estate turns your wedding into an unforgettable weekend surrounded by your favorite people.

  • Your Wildflower Estate rental includes exclusive access to the entire private estate during your reserved period, with only your event on the property, indoor and outdoor event spaces, overnight accommodations in the estate home, getting-ready areas, event tables and chairs, 100 ceremony chairs as standard with additional available, and standard linens. From there, you can customize your wedding with additional services such as catering, bartending, rentals, and décor.

  • Holland Gardens and Wildflower Estate are sister properties offering two very different experiences. Holland Gardens is our full-service venue in Holland, Ohio, where catering, bar, staffing, and setup are all handled for you, ideal for couples who want a seamless, fully managed day. Wildflower Estate is our private estate in Gibsonburg, Ohio, with overnight accommodations and the flexibility to design your own wedding weekend. On a tour, we'll help you find the one that fits your vision.

  • For weddings, Wildflower Estate hosts up to 120 guests indoors and up to 180 guests for outdoor celebrations. Depending on your ceremony and reception plans, we'll help determine the best layout for your guest count during the planning process.

Some couples keep it simple by renting the property and bringing in their own vendors, while others create a fully inclusive experience with catering, bartending, rentals, and décor. We'll help you build the celebration that fits your vision and your budget.

  • Yes. On-site parking is available at Wildflower Estate, keeping arrival convenient while preserving the relaxed, private atmosphere of the estate.

  • Most couples book Wildflower Estate twelve to eighteen months before their wedding date, and peak season Saturdays (April through November) tend to reserve first. We do occasionally have shorter-notice dates available. The best way to know what's open for your season is to schedule a tour, where we can talk through real availability in person.

The Wildflower Estate Experience

  • Yes. One of the most unique features of Wildflower Estate is the ability to stay overnight in the estate home. Many couples arrive the day before, settle in with their wedding party, and wake up on-site the morning of the wedding without the stress of traveling between locations.

  • The estate home comfortably accommodates up to 12 overnight guests. Staying on-site creates a relaxed atmosphere and gives you more quality time with the people closest to you throughout your wedding weekend.

  • Yes. Many couples transform their Wildflower Estate wedding into a full weekend. You might add on a rehearsal dinner or welcome gathering the evening before, wake up and get ready on-site with brunch and mimosas, celebrate your wedding, then gather for a farewell breakfast before everyone heads home. These extra gatherings are available as add-ons, so you can build the weekend that fits your vision. The private property is what makes that kind of unhurried weekend possible.

  • Yes. Beyond weddings, Wildflower Estate is available to book as an overnight stay on its own. It's a beautiful setting for a getaway, a girls' weekend, a small gathering, or simply a quiet retreat on the property. Reach out to our team for overnight availability and rates.

Overnight & Weekend

  • Wildflower Estate weddings are customized to your guest count, date, and the services you choose, so your investment reflects the experience you create. Some couples simply reserve the property, while others build a more inclusive experience with catering, bartending, rentals, and enhancements. Most weekend weddings invest between $6,000 and $15,000 depending on what they include. We'll build a personalized proposal around your vision during your tour.

  • That flexibility is one of the best parts of Wildflower Estate, and it's the biggest factor in your investment. On the simpler end, you can reserve the property and bring in your own caterer, bartender, and vendors. On the fuller end, you can add Holland Gardens catering, bartending, rentals, décor, and more for a mostly hands-off experience. Most couples land somewhere in between, and we'll help you shape the mix that fits your vision and your budget.

Investment

  • Yes. Unlike Holland Gardens, Wildflower Estate gives you flexibility with catering. You're welcome to bring in your own licensed caterer, or you can choose the Holland Gardens in-house culinary team to simplify planning. Many couples appreciate having the freedom to create the experience that works best for them.

  • Absolutely. If you'd prefer a more inclusive experience, the Holland Gardens culinary team can provide everything from elegant wedding dinners to rehearsal dinners, brunches, late-night snacks, and farewell breakfasts. You get the beauty of a private estate with the convenience of experienced catering professionals.

  • Yes. At Wildflower Estate, couples may provide their own alcohol for their wedding, served by licensed bartenders provided through Holland Gardens, which keeps your celebration safe, professional, and compliant with Ohio liquor laws. You can also add on mixers, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies if you'd like.

  • Yes. The Holland Gardens bartending team can provide professional service for your Wildflower Estate wedding. Since you provide the alcohol, you have complete flexibility in choosing the beverages you'd like to serve while our team handles the service.

  • Absolutely. Many couples host both their ceremony and reception at Wildflower Estate. With multiple ceremony locations and flexible reception options, you can create a day that flows naturally while guests enjoy everything the estate has to offer.

  • Yes, and it's one of the best parts. Wildflower Estate sits on private grounds with beautiful outdoor ceremony locations, from open fields and prairie grasses to tree-lined paths and garden settings. Outdoor celebrations host up to 180 guests. We include 100 ceremony chairs, and additional chairs for larger guest counts, along with any tenting, are available as add-ons through American Event Rentals. We'll help you choose the spot that best matches the feeling you want for your ceremony.

  • We always recommend a backup plan for outdoor weddings, and we'll help you prepare for both possibilities. Depending on your guest count, Wildflower Estate offers indoor options as well as tented solutions through American Event Rentals, so your celebration continues beautifully regardless of the weather. When a tent is arranged in advance, you have a gorgeous backup ready to go.

  • Absolutely. Outdoor celebrations at Wildflower Estate are open sky by nature, which many couples love. If you'd like overhead cover, a defined reception footprint, or a weather backup, a tent is available as an add-on through American Event Rentals, our sister company and exclusive rental partner for the estate. They can provide the tent along with flooring, lighting, sidewalls, tables, chairs, dance floors, staging, and more, and because they already know the property and its layout, setup is seamless. So your outdoor wedding is either beautifully open air, or tented exactly the way you'd like.

  • Yes. Through American Event Rentals, we handle your rentals for you, including tents, tables, chairs, garden and Chiavari chairs, upgraded linens, lounge furniture, dance floors, lighting, bars, décor, and ceremony seating. As a Wildflower Estate couple, you also receive special in-house rates through American Event Rentals. Because they already know the estate and its layout, one team takes care of delivery, setup, and teardown, so you're not coordinating a separate rental company on top of everything else.

  • Yes. When you book your Wildflower Estate wedding, we include a complimentary one-hour engagement session, and you can use it at either Wildflower Estate or Holland Gardens, whichever backdrop feels most like you. With gardens, mature trees, open fields, prairie grasses, and charming architecture, the estate creates stunning settings for engagement sessions, bridal portraits, and wedding-day photos.

  • In many cases, yes, at both Wildflower Estate and Holland Gardens. As a private estate, Wildflower Estate can often welcome well-behaved pets to be part of your ceremony, which is something many traditional venues can't offer. Pets are welcome for the ceremony only. They aren't able to go inside or stay overnight for the weekend, so many couples arrange for someone to handle pick-up once the ceremony wraps. We'll go over a few simple guidelines during planning so your furry family member can be part of the moment.

  • Celebrations at Wildflower Estate wrap up by 11:00 PM, with music ending by 10:00 PM. Because the estate sits on private property in a peaceful rural setting, these timelines keep the evening comfortable for you and the surrounding area, and we'll go over all of the details with you during planning so you know exactly what to expect for your timeline.

Our small party space comfortably hosts up to 80 guests, and we can open additional space for larger gatherings. Rentals start at $600, and our team can make your event as hands-on or hands-off as you'd like.

  • Wildflower Estate is a versatile private event space for all kinds of celebrations and gatherings, including birthday parties and milestone celebrations, bridal showers and baby showers, engagement parties and rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, graduation parties, retirement parties, family reunions, holiday parties and family gatherings, corporate and business events, meetings and luncheons, banquets, fundraisers, and celebrations of life. Whatever you're planning, our team can help you shape the space and services to fit the occasion.

Our team sets up, keeps the buffet stocked, clears tables, and handles cleanup so you can simply enjoy the celebration. You're also welcome to bring in your own licensed caterer if you prefer.

  • Yes. For private parties at Wildflower Estate, you're welcome to bring your own alcohol. We'll go over all of the details with you so everything is set up for a safe, easy celebration.

  • Wildflower Estate hosts private parties throughout the week and all year long, including Saturdays. Popular dates do book up, especially in peak season, so we recommend reaching out early with your preferred date and we'll check availability and help you lock it in.

Outdoor access is $75 per hour, and full access to both the indoor and outdoor spaces is $125 per hour. With gardens, mature trees, open fields, prairie grasses, and the estate's architecture, it offers a variety of backdrops in one private location.

Outdoor-only sessions are $75 per hour, and sessions with indoor and outdoor access are $125 per hour.
